尾矿尾矿tailing选矿分选作业中,品位最低的产品。当其品位降低到当时技术经济条件下不易再分选时,称最终尾矿,常堆存于尾矿库。选矿厂的尾矿量很大,需占用大量土地,干燥后的尾矿随风飞扬,造成污染,应设法综合利用,其途径有:①尾矿再选。老尾矿的品位高于正在开采的原矿,且老尾矿已经磨细还可节省开矿和破碎、磨矿成本。②利用尾矿作井填充料。③利用尾矿制砖、制水泥和作建筑材料的掺合料。如高硅尾矿用于制作硅酸盐砖和作掺合料制作加气混凝土制品,含方解石、石英为主的尾矿可用作水泥的原料。④利用尾矿作玻璃、陶瓷原料和其他材料。如含石英或长石为主的尾矿可以作玻璃、陶瓷原料。尾矿还可用作各种耐火材料、陶粒、铸石、型砂等原料。⑤利用尾矿复田和种植农作物。⑥尾矿就地堆浸。如利用露天氧化及酸性矿坑水加少量硫酸,对硫化铜矿等尾矿进行就地堆浸,从中回收有用金属。尾矿水和废水,经物理方法、化学方法或生物化学等方法进行净化处理,达到废水排放标准,由尾矿库排出澄清的水,一部分通过回水系统返回选矿厂供生产使用,可节省新水消耗量,减少环境污染。
