水文随机模拟 用水文时间序列分析的方法，对给定的水文时间序列建立模型，再应用蒙特卡罗方法按选用的模型生成人工序列的技术。对生成的人工序列,需进行统计检验,如不合要求应重新建立模型和生成序列。 水文随机模拟技术，最初是从水库设计问题提出的。假如流量序列很长，在年调节水库设计中，以观测流量记录为依据所求得的洪水流量、所需库容以及保证率三者的关系是有一定意义的。但如设计的是多年调节水库，库容大小主要取决于连续多年的枯水段，这时仅凭实测的流量序列，将难以得出可靠解答。1927年C.E.祖德勒曾为确定水库容积的概率分布而生成了1000年的年径流记录。但在此后的30年间，由于计算技术的限制，这种方法并未在工程界得到实际应用。直至50年代，随着计算机的问世，水文随机模拟又重新受到重视。在水资源系统工程的规划设计及管理运用方面应用水文随机模拟的大量研究，是从60年代几乎同时在苏联和美国开始的。水文随机模拟的基本内容是模型选择、参数估计、资料生成、模型检验以及不确定性评价（见水文时间序列分析）。 虽然在水文随机模拟中还存在一些问题有待解决，如模型与参数的不确定性的影响与评价，但水文随机模拟技术的正确使用，将有助于在水资源工程的规划设计和管理运用中得到比应用传统方法更为可靠的结果，从而可以提高规划设计或管理运用的科学水平。 由于在水文随机模拟中所使用的模型大都不涉及水文过程的物理内容，故有较大的模型不确定性。20世纪70年代提出研究"有物理依据的随机水文模型"可望于未来给出更为合理可靠的模拟结果。 参考书目 J.D.Salas, et al., Applied Modeling of Hydrologic Time Series, Water Resources Publications,Fort Collins,Colorado,1980.
