跳频电台  载波频率随时间跳变的无线电通信设备。由于频率跳变的顺序由伪随机码序列决定,敌方不易识别,难以实施干扰,因而是一种抗干扰能力较强的电台。跳频电台的工作原理和组成,与普通电台基本相似,但其输出、输入回路是宽频带快速调谐的,并有一个跳频控制单元,来实现载频的跳变。跳频控制单元,是由码序列发生器和跳频同步器构成的。码序列发生器产生的伪随机码序列(由密钥控制),控制发信机和收信机的频率合成器,使它们的频率均随着码序列决定的顺序跳变。一种跳频顺序组成一种跳频图案。同一通信网的电台,只能使用同一种跳频图案。为了实现通信,收发双方的载频必须由跳频同步器保持严格的同步跳动。若要组成多网工作,避免网间相互干扰,则各网必须使用不同的跳频图案,而且应使各网间每一频率的驻留时间保持严格的起止校准,并在同一驻留时间内使用的频率各不相同,这种组网方式称为正交组网。由于跳频电台的载频在一个相当宽的频率范围内快速地跳变,因而敌方无法实施瞄准式干扰。跳频的频率数目愈多,频率范围愈宽,则电台的抗干扰能力愈强。为了对付敌人的跟踪干扰,跳频的速率不应太低。敌方从检测到跳频电台的工作频率至施放干扰,需要一定的响应时间,如果跳频速率足够快,则敌方干扰频率的变化跟不上工作频率跳变的速度,就不能构成干扰。目前使用的跳频电台,以每秒跳变百次至数百次者居多。    20世纪70年代中期,美英两国开始研制跳频电台。80年代初,开始生产并逐步装备部队使用。跳频技术目前主要用于超短波战术电台,由于它抗干扰和抗截获能力强,保密性能好,是军用战术电台的发展方向。
