海绵铁 直接还原炼铁的产物。所用原料为球团矿时称为金属化球团。主要用于电弧炉炼钢,近年还建了直接还原炼铁- 电炉炼钢的钢铁联合企业。古代的块炼铁也称海绵铁。 海绵铁的主要质量指标是:①SiO2含量,是决定炼钢渣量的主要因素。SiO2含量低,电炉能耗和耐火材料消耗也可降低。一般要求SiO2<2.5%。②金属化率(即含金属铁占全铁的百分率),在90%下时,电弧炉炼钢能耗将增大,收得率将降低,熔炼时间将延长。如高于95%时,将会增加生产海绵铁的能耗,并降低海绵铁的产量。一般控制在92%左右。③含碳量,可根据金属化率和冶炼的钢种调整。一般为0.5~2.0%。 用海绵铁炼钢的主要优缺点是:①海绵铁比较纯净,不象废钢那样含有对钢质有害、而在冶炼过程中不能除去的元素,如铜、铅等。在电弧炉炼钢炉料中增大它的配比,可起净化作用,改善钢的质量。②可采用连续进料方法,炉料熔化快,操作平稳,缩短冶炼周期,提高产量。③大部或全部地使用海绵铁时,熔渣较多,且有氧化铁需要还原,比冶炼废钢时的能耗大。 参考书目 On the Use of Prereduced Materials in Iron Steelmaking,UNEOE,Buckarest,1976.
