细菌浸取  通过细菌对矿石的作用,把矿物中不溶性的金属化合物变成可溶性的化合物,再用一般湿法冶金方法从溶液中进行回收的过程,又称为微生物冶金或细菌采矿,也曾称为细菌冶金。能使用的微生物有许多种,在生产上已应用的有氧化亚铁硫杆菌。此菌在硫化矿床酸性矿水内,只需简单的无机营养物便能生活,能在酸性条件下把硫酸亚铁或黄铁矿氧化为硫酸高铁。酸性硫酸高铁是一种强氧化浸取剂,能与矿石中的许多矿物进行化学反应,使金属成为硫酸盐。    目前,细菌浸取在生产上的应用主要是:堆积浸取或地下浸取含碱性脉石少的低品位次生硫化铜矿;地下浸取采矿后残留在采场内的铀矿,如中国安徽铜官山和湖南水口山等矿区曾采用细菌浸取;某些铜锌精矿用细菌法搅拌浸取,也接近工业应用;对砷钴矿的钴及高硫锰矿的锰,浸取效果也很显著。细菌浸取有一定局限性,如浸取周期长、环境温度要适宜等,因此它的应用受到一定限制,是一个发展中的课题。
