巷道巷道workings地下采矿时，为采矿提升、运输、通风、排水、动力供应等而掘进的通道。根据巷道长轴线与水平面的关系分为3类：①直立巷道。巷道的长轴线与水平面垂直，包括立井、盲立井。立井中直接与地面相通，专门或主要用于提升矿石的称主井；作提升废石、矸石、下放器材、升降人员等辅助提升用的称副井。盲立井不与地面直接相通，又称暗立井。专门用来溜放矿石的暗井称溜井。②水平巷道。巷道的长轴线与水平面近似平行。如平硐，直接与地面相通，包括担负主要运矿任务的主平硐、担负辅助运输的副平硐和专作通风用的通风平硐等；石门，与地面不直接相通，其长轴线与矿体走向斜交或直交。平巷，与地面不直接相通的水平巷道，其长轴方向与矿体走向平行，布置在矿体内的称脉内平巷，布置在岩石中的称脉外平巷。③倾斜巷道。巷道的长轴线与水平面呈一定角度。如作用与立井和平硐相同，与地面直接连通的倾斜巷道——斜井，用于开采某水平以上或以下矿体的上山道或下山道、斜坡道和天井等。巷道断面形状多为拱形、梯形或矩形，围岩松软的为圆形、椭圆形或马蹄形。如围岩不稳定，须进行支护，根据围岩稳定程度、涌水量、断面形状和大小、服务年限等因素，选择喷射混凝土、锚杆、金属钢筋混凝土或石材等支护形式。
