磁法勘探磁法勘探magneticprospecting通过观测和分析由岩石、矿石(或其他勘测对象)的磁性差异所引起的磁异常,进而研究地质构造和矿产资源(或其他探测对象)的分布规律的地球物理勘探方法。其中磁异常是指磁性体产生的磁场叠加在地球磁场之上而引起的地磁场畸变。岩石磁性主要取决于铁磁性矿物的包裹体,最常见的铁磁性矿物有磁铁矿、钛磁铁矿、磁黄铁矿和磁赤铁矿。岩石、矿石的磁性由感应磁化强度和剩余磁化强度两部分组成。岩石、矿石受现代地磁场的磁化而产生感应磁化强度与现代地磁场强度的比值(即磁化率)表示其受磁化的难易程度。在形成过程中,岩石、矿石受到当时地磁场的磁化而获得磁性,称为剩余磁化强度。岩石、矿石磁性的差异是磁法勘探藉以解决地质找矿问题的基础。磁测工作按照观测磁异常的空间地域不同,分为地面磁测、航空磁测、海洋磁测和井中磁测。磁异常的观测数据需做适当的处理和改正,主要有正常场改正、日变改正、仪器的温度系数和零点漂移改正。作大面积磁测时,正常场的改正中,还应包括纬度改正。由此获得准确的异常值,常用等值线平面图和剖面图来表示。常用的磁法勘探仪器有磁秤、磁通门磁力仪和质子旋进磁力仪。地质工作者正在进行磁法勘探
