矿井地质  在煤田勘探之后,在煤矿建设和生产过程中,直接为煤矿生产服务的地质工作。矿井地质工作主要为生产提供准确的地质资料,确保矿井建设和生产正常进行以及煤炭资源的合理开发和利用。主要任务是:①研究影响煤矿建设和生产的地质因素,如地质构造、煤层、煤质的变化,水文地质和工程地质条件,侵入煤层或在煤层邻近的火成岩的特点和分布规律;②研究矿井瓦斯、煤尘、自燃、地温等,以及煤矿建设和生产中造成环境污染的地质因素;③研究含煤地层中伴生矿产的赋存规律和利用价值;④定期计算和核实储量,掌握储量动态,及时提出合理开发和利用煤炭资源的建议。矿井地质不应局限于地下巷道或露天矿坑的地质观测,必须结合地面地质、井田区域地质进行研究。此外,还应依据矿山开采结果与同一地段的勘探资料验证对比,正确评价,为改进煤矿地质勘探提供依据。    1949年以来,中国矿井地质工作随着煤炭工业的发展迅速开展。1953年以后建立了矿井地质机构和有关的科学研究机构,对矿井地质工作的开展起了推动作用。
