知识分子思想改造运动知识分子思想改造运动1951年秋～1952年秋在中国开展的知识分子的自我教育和自我改造运动。中华人民共和国建立初期大约有200多万知识分子。广大知识分子爱国热情很高，大多数学有所成的知识分子留在大陆迎接解放，参加祖国建设。知识分子学习热情也很高，他们要求了解新社会，了解中国共产党，了解马列主义毛泽东思想。但是，他们大多出身于剥削阶级家庭，长期受封建主义、资本主义的教育，在思想上难免留下旧社会的烙印。为帮助他们摆脱剥削阶级世界观的束缚，树立为人民服务的思想，共产党在知识分子中广泛组织了马列主义基础知识的学习和党的方针政策的学习，以及中国共产党的历史和理论的学习，采取各种方式对知识分子进行思想教育。比较集中的思想改造学习运动则是从1951年9月下旬在北京、天津的高等学校教师中首先开始的。9月29日，周恩来总理受中央委托，向两市高校教师学习会作了《关于知识分子的改造问题》的报告。同年11月30日，中共中央发出《关于在学校中进行思想改造和组织清理的指示》，要求在学校教职员和高中以上学生中普遍开展学习运动，号召他们认真学习马列主义、毛泽东思想，联系实际，开展批评和自我批评，进行自我教育和自我改造；并指出这次运动的目的，主要是分清革命和反革命，树立为人民服务的思想。此后运动由教育界逐步扩展到文艺界和整个知识界。1952年秋基本结束。
