传动：链传动 利用链与链轮轮齿的嚙合来传递动力和运动的机械传动(图1 齿形链传动 )。链传动平均传动比準确﹐传动效率高﹐轴间距离适应范围较大﹐能在温度较高﹑湿度较大的环境中使用﹔但链传动一般只能用作平行轴间传动﹐且其瞬时传动比波动﹐传动噪声较大。 中国东汉张衡所发明的浑天仪中就已採用了链传动。自从1874年世界上出现第一辆用链传动的自行车以来﹐链传动应用日趋广泛。链传动的功率可达3600千瓦﹐链速可达40米/秒﹐传动比可达15﹐中心距可达8米。但一般情况下使用的传动功率不大於100千瓦﹐链速不大於15米/秒﹐传动比不大於8。链传动广泛用於交通运输﹑农业﹑轻工﹑矿山﹑石油化工和机床工业等。 用於动力传动的链主要有套筒滚子链和齿形链两种。套筒滚子链由内链板﹑外链板﹑套筒﹑销轴﹑滚子组成(图2 套筒滚子链 )。外链板固定在销轴上﹐内链板固定在套筒上﹐滚子与套筒间和套筒与销轴间均可相对转动﹐因而链条与链轮的嚙合主要为滚动摩擦。套筒滚子链可单列使用和多列并用﹐多列并用可传递较大功率。套筒滚子链比齿形链重量轻﹑寿命长﹑成本低。在动力传动中应用较广。 齿形链是用销轴将多对具有60°角的工作面的链片组装而成。链片的工作面与链轮相嚙合。为防止链条在工作时从链轮上脱落﹐链条上装有内导片或外导片。嚙合时导片与链轮上相应的导槽嵌合(图1 齿形链传动 )。齿形链传动平稳﹐噪声很小﹐故又名无声链﹐常用於高速传动。套筒滚子链和齿形链链轮的齿形应保证链节能自由进入或退出嚙合﹐在嚙入时衝击很小﹐在嚙合时接触良好。
