角器骨器象牙器保护与修复  温湿度的剧烈变化是角、骨、象牙发生翘曲、开裂的主要因素。风吹日晒和空气污染也会促使角、骨、象牙老化变脆,颜色变深、发黄。出土的角、骨、象牙制品,长期遭受水土微生物及各种盐类的侵蚀,骨蛋白等有机物逐渐分解,质地疏松,出现脱层或表面酥粉,极易折断和破碎。有的上面还附有一层碳酸盐类的锈壳或霉斑。对这类文物需要进行化学加固,并清除锈壳和霉斑,避免病害继续发展。    去锈除霉  出土骨器,包括甲骨,如质地尚好,可采用加热(100℃以下 )后浸入冷水中的胀缩法使锈壳脱落,或松动后剔除。锈点可用 1~2%的稀盐酸或甲酸使其软化再用竹刀剔除,并用蒸馏水和乙醇反复冲洗,直到器物的酸碱度呈中性为止。角、骨、象牙表面上的霉斑,可用 2~5%的草酸溶液或柠檬酸液清洗,最后用稀氨水中和并用蒸馏水冲洗。污垢清除后应将器物放在玻璃器皿或塑料袋中,使器物缓慢均匀干燥,以免变形或开裂。    矫形  对于尚有一定弹性的变形角、骨、象牙器,可在 3~5%的醋酸溶液中浸泡,软化后用蒸馏水冲洗并放在预先准备好的模具内,使其干燥定形。如质地比较脆弱,可在蛋白胶液中煮过再矫形。弯曲变形过大时,需逐步间歇进行,以免造成断裂。    加固  对于质地疏松脆弱,表面酥粉的角、骨、象牙器或人骨架,可用 2~3%的三甲树脂即甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)、甲基丙烯酸丁酯(BMA)和甲基丙烯酸(MA)的共聚体和甲苯、丙酮溶液或用15%聚醋酸乙烯酯甲苯丙酮溶液渗透加固。加固要多次进行,以获得一定强度和表面不显光泽为宜。表面残留的树脂流痕,可用丙酮溶去,也可用 2~5%聚乙烯醇缩丁醛乙醇溶液渗透加固,一般用滴渗或注射加固。若用减压渗透法加固,效果更好。    粘合  已经断裂的角、骨、象牙器如需要耐水,可用较稠的三甲树脂、聚砜、聚胺酯漆以及硝基清漆等进行粘合。如不考虑耐水问题,可用 502胶合剂(d-氰基丙烯酸乙酯 )或聚醋酸乙烯乳液粘合。    修复脱层与残缺  已经出现脱层和残缺的角、骨、象牙类文物,可用蜂蜡、松香、乳香胶(或达玛树脂)的混合剂加热修复。也可用稀释的聚醋酸乙烯乳液调和石膏修补残缺部位。为了使补配部分与原有部分协调一致,可以在以上两种材料中填加适量的颜料。
