旱作农业旱作农业 旱作农业在无灌溉条件下靠有限的自然降水所从事的农业生产。又称雨养农业或旱地农业中国干旱、半干旱地区面积占国土总面积的52,5%.其中无灌溉条件的旱耕地约占全国总耕地的51%。中国旱作农业区主要分布在沿昆仑山脉、秦岭、淮河一线以北的大部分地区,特别是内蒙古包头以东的长城沿线和黄土高原地区,大致包括北方巧个省、自治区、直辖市的740多个县,旱耕地面积约占全国总旱地面积的75%。旱作农业区地形复杂.气候条件差异很大,山地、高原、平原、丘陵沟壑、盆地、沙漠、戈壁兼备。年降水量大部分在250一550毫米之间。旱作农业区农业生产条件比较落后,生态环境恶化,水土流失严重,干旱少雨,土地瘩薄,严重影响这一地区农业生产的发展和居民生活水平的提高。 旱作农业区应尽可能地利用水利工程,在解决水源问题的同时,积极采取一系列旱作农业生产技术和措施。如通过增施化肥和有机肥培肥地力,以肥调水,精耕细作,蓄水保墒;通过调整布局、改革耕作制度,采取覆盖栽培、种植抗旱品种和抗旱作物等技术,大幅度提高作物产量。农业部于1992年、1993年,在陕西渭南、山西运城、河南洛阳和三门峡实施跨省跨地区旱地小麦高产开发丰收计划项目,推动了当地旱作小麦生产的发展。
