老芒麦(siborian wildrye)  老芒麦(siborian wildrye) 禾本科披碱草属中的一个种,学名Elymus sibiricus L.,多年生草本植物。又名重穗大麦草、西伯利亚碱草。良好牧草。主要分布于北半球温带地区。中国分布于东北、内蒙古、河北、山西、陕西、甘肃、青海、新疆、四川、西藏等地。 须根系。株高50-100cm,疏丛。叶舌短,膜质,无叶耳。穗状花序,弯曲而下垂,长12-18cm,每穗节生2-3小穗,排列疏松,小穗灰绿色或稍带紫色,含3-5朵花,小穗轴密生微毛。颖披针形或条状披针形,脉明显而粗糙,先端尖或具3-5cm短芒;外颖披针形,背部粗糙,具明显5脉,脉和顶端芒粗糙;内颖与外颖几乎等长。颖果长扁圆形,易脱落。种子千粒重3.5-4g。 老芒麦抗寒性强,耐旱力中等,寿命10年。适于年降水量400-500mm地区栽培。可春播、夏播或秋播。条播行距15-30cm,播深3-4cm。播种量每公顷18.75-26.25kg,每年刈割一次。宜抽穗至初花期刈割,每公顷产干草1500-3750kg。再生草可放牧。叶量较多,第二年以后的牧草,抽穗期叶量占40-50%,草质柔软,适口性好,营养价值高。其开花期营养成分含水分8.44%,粗蛋白质10.36%,粗脂肪1.86%,粗纤维28.4%,无氮浸出物43.61%,灰分6.99%。
