生态毒理学生态毒理学ecotoxicology环境生物学的一个分支，研究有毒物质进入环境对组成生态系统的生物种群和生物群落所产生的生态效应。生态毒理学是在传统毒理学基础上发展起来的。环境污染问题出现后，促使传统毒理学从研究毒物对生物个体所产生的效应扩大到研究毒物对生物群体所产生的效应，在此基础上法国学者R.特吕豪于1969年提出生态毒理学的概念，此后经不少学者加以充实和完善。中国的生态毒理学研究始于70年代中期。生态毒理学研究毒物、环境和机体三者相互作用的关系。它包括：①毒物到达靶生物前，环境以何种方式影响毒物特性，如毒物在迁移、转化、归宿过程中所发生的特性的变化。②环境如何影响机体对毒物的反应。③毒物如何影响环境，如毒物引起饵料生物灭亡等。生态毒理学问题的研究常需其他学科的参与，如环境化学和应用数学等，其最终目的在于阐明受污染环境所发生的过程和环境风险。在发达国家，生态毒理学已成为环境政策、法规、标准和污染控制的一门支撑学科。
