侵蚀力侵蚀力 引起地表物质发生侵蚀的各种地貌外营力潜在能力的量度。地貌外营力包括 重力、水力、风力、溶蚀、冰川、冻融、 潮汐、海流、波浪、生物作用和人类活动等。某一地质外营力的侵蚀力大小, 主要取决于它作功所消耗能量的来源及其自然属性。如降雨侵蚀力是降雨引起侵蚀的潜在能力,是降雨物理特性的函数;风的侵蚀力完全受风速控制;重力作用强弱与坡度和有效地形高差关系密切;冻融作用强弱与土(岩)体含水量有关。侵蚀力能量主要来自宇宙能,同时也受地势高差影响。在美国通用土壤流失方程中,它可经验性地表征为降雨动能与最大30分钟雨强的乘积。流水侵蚀力来自水流所具有的动能,是流量与流速的函数。当片状水流特征流速为0.01米/秒时,动能约为降雨雨滴的1/100万,有3%左右成为侵蚀力。细沟流水特征速度为10米/秒,动能为雨滴的60%,约有3%成为侵蚀力,相当于雨滴侵蚀力的10倍,片状水流的百万倍。决定风的侵蚀力的重要因素是风的频度和风速。对于任何环境中出现的侵蚀,都受侵蚀力和地表物质抗蚀力两方面的作用,故一般认为侵蚀是侵蚀力与抗蚀力的函数,是其相互作用的表现。
