硫醇和硫酚 官能团为巯基(─SH)的有机化合物。 粗石油中含有多种有机硫化合物,通常为以乙硫醇为主的各种硫醇。在石油的精馏或裂解时,由于某些硫化物的分解和烯烃与硫化氢的加成,硫醇的含量还有所提高。此外,烯丙硫醇存在于芥子油中,含有巯基的氨基酸、半胱氨酸存在于蛋白质中。 硫醇、硫酚在性质上与醇、酚相似。硫醇和硫酚都有强烈的臭味。乙硫醇在空气中的浓度达到 500亿分之一时,即可闻到臭味。硫醇、硫酚是弱酸,其酸性比相应的羟基化合物强,比乙酸弱。它们能与氯化汞生成不溶性的汞盐: 2C2H5SH+HgCl2─→(C2H5S)2Hg+2HCl也很容易被各种氧化剂氧化成二硫化物: 2RSH+H2O2─→R─S─S─R+2H2O式中R为烷基。巯基中硫-氢键的键能为339千焦/摩尔,比羟基中氧、氢之间的键能462千焦/摩尔为低,这是硫醇或硫酚能被氧化成二硫化物的原因。 硫醇可由卤代烷与硫氢化钠起取代反应制得,或将卤代烷与硫脲反应,然后将产物用碱液处理制得: 醇与硫化氢进行高温的催化反应,能大量生产廉价的乙硫醇和丁硫醇: 硫酚一般由芳香磺酰氯还原制得: C6H5SO2Cl+3Zn+5HCl─→ C6H5SH+3ZnCl2+2H2O 有些硫醇和硫酚可做药物、解毒剂和橡胶硫化促进剂等,以及用作合成杀菌剂的原料。例如,硫代水杨酸可用于合成杀菌剂水杨乙汞;2-巯基苯并噻唑可做橡胶的硫化促进剂;2,3-二巯基丙醇可做砷中毒的解毒剂;6-巯基嘌呤可治癌。 参考书目 E.E.Reid,Organic Chemistry of Bivalent Sulfur,Vol.1, Chemical Pub.
