滇池滇池中国断陷构造湖。位于云南省昆明市西南,古称滇南泽,又称昆明湖。湖面海拔1885米,南北长约32千米,东西平均宽11千米,面积297平方千米,外形呈弓弦形。蓄水量约14亿立方米。湖北部有一长堤,名海堤,将湖分成两部分:堤外的叫外海,面积275平方千米,水深3~5米,最深处8米;堤内叫草海,又名西湖、积波池和青草湖,面积约22平方千米,水深只有1~2米。接纳盘龙江等10条主要河流的水量补给,多年平均来水量约7亿立方米,泄出水量约5亿立方米。昆明市西南的海口河是滇池的唯一的出湖河流,河口有形似螳螂的沙滩分布,故又称螳螂川。河流蕴藏丰富的水能资源,1910年在海口附近的石龙坝修建起中国第一座水力发电站。有昆明至海口的班轮。盛产鲤、鲫、乌鱼和金线鱼等。滇池风光
