对二甲氨基苯甲醛分子式:C9H11NO分子量:149.19CAS号:100-10-7性质:白色或淡黄色叶状结晶或粉末。熔点74℃,沸点176-177℃(2.27kPa),闪点164℃。溶于醇、醚、丙酮、氯仿和乙酸,微溶于水。有苯甲醛样气味,遇光渐变红色。制备方法:以N,N-二甲基苯胺为原料,可采用两种方法生产。(1)以乌洛托品反应生成亚甲基-N,N-二甲氨基苄胺,转位生成N,N-二甲基亚苄甲胺,然后水解得产品。(2)与二甲基甲酰胺在三氯氧磷存在下反应。另外,还有一种实验室制备方法是,以N,N-二甲基苯胺、亚硝酸钠、甲醛为原料制备。用途:染料中间体和分析试剂。该品用于测定吲哚、粪臭素、尿蓝母、色氨酸和麦角碱等,还用以区别血清发疹和猩红热。在染料方面,可用来合成压热敏染料。也用于生产阳离子艳红G(C.I.Basic Red 52)。
