合金铸铁  在普通铸铁中加入合金元素而具有特殊性能的铸铁。通常加入的合金元素有硅、锰、磷、镍、铬、钼、铜、铝、硼、钒、钛、锑、锡等。合金铸铁根据合金元素的加入量分为低合金铸铁 (合金元素含量<3%)、中合金铸铁(合金元素含量为 3~10%)和高合金铸铁(合金元素含量>10%)。合金元素能使铸铁基体组织发生变化,从而使铸铁获得特殊的耐热、耐磨、耐腐蚀、无磁和耐低温等物理-化学性能,因此这种铸铁也叫"特殊性能铸铁"。合金铸铁广泛用于机器制造、冶金矿山、化工、仪表工业以及冷冻技术等部门。
