吹灰器 利用蒸汽、压缩空气或压力水清除锅炉受热面上积灰和结渣的装置。在锅炉中，燃料燃烧后产生的部分灰渣会粘附在锅炉受热面上，影响传热效果，因而须经常进行清灰。最为常见的清灰方法是用吹灰器除灰，此外还有钢珠除灰、振动除灰和声波除灰等。用吹灰器定期吹灰可改善传热效果，节约燃料1～2％，并可预防大量结渣和堵灰，提高锅炉可用率。采用蒸汽或压缩空气作为吹灰介质的常用吹灰器主要有 4种。①长伸缩式吹灰器(见图)：用于吹扫过热器和再热器(也有用于省煤器的)管束中的积灰。吹灰时吹灰管子和喷头一面旋转,一面伸入烟道。喷头用拉瓦尔喷管式,蒸汽或空气的喷射速度超过声速，有效吹灰半径约1.5～2米。②短伸缩式吹灰器：用于吹扫炉膛水冷壁管子表面的结渣和积灰。以上两种吹灰器多数用于高于 700℃的烟温范围，吹灰结束后吹灰管退出炉外，以免被高温烟气烧坏。③固定旋转式吹灰器:用于吹扫烟温低于700℃的烟道中管束的积灰，吹灰管上装有许多喷嘴，吹灰时吹灰管只作转动，吹灰结束后吹灰管不退出炉外。由于这种吹灰管长期置于烟道内,为保证吹灰管不被烧坏,应根据装设点的烟温选用耐热钢材。④摆动式吹灰器：用于回转式空气预热器。用蒸汽吹灰时，为获得较好的吹灰效果，应保持蒸汽压力为0.8～2兆帕。 压力水用于清除燃用褐煤和油页岩锅炉炉膛中的结渣。在大型燃煤电站锅炉中往往装有几十只各种类型的吹灰器并采用程序控制，定期吹灰。
