汉封将军柏
嵩阳书院位于中岳庙附近，是我国古代的四大书院之一，也是中原旅游区的重要旅游点之一。游客来此，除了参观古代文化遗产外，主要看“全国稀世珍宝——汉封将军柏”。嵩阳书院，原有三棵“将军柏”（现只有两棵），最小的称为“大将军”。最大的偏称“二将军”、“三将军”。将军柏名实不符，级职不相称，是什么原因呢？这里有一段传说和趣谈：汉武帝错封三柏。
