棘头虫病 由棘头虫动物门原棘头虫纲的寄生虫所引起的一类蠕虫病。分布广泛,为害严重,往往呈地方性流行。中国家畜棘头虫病的病原主要有:蛭形巨吻棘头虫(Macracanthorhynchus hirudinaceus),寄生于猪的小肠, 以成年猪多见,有时也见于犬、猫和人;大多形棘头虫(Po-lymorphus magnus)和小多形棘头虫(P.minutus),主要寄生于鸭,也寄生于鹅和多种野生水禽的小肠。 蛭形巨吻棘头虫雄虫长7~15厘米,逗点状。雌虫大,有30~63厘米长,与猪蛔虫相似 (见彩图)。虫体前端稍粗,后端较窄,为长圆柱状,淡红色或灰白色,表皮较厚,有明显的环状横纹。头端有一可伸缩的吻突,上有6列向后弯曲的钩。体腔内有排泄系统,由一对胚肾组成;有神经系统,而无消化系统,靠体表吸收营养物质。虫卵椭圆形,内含成形的棘头蚴。中间宿主为各种甲虫和金龟子。虫卵被中间宿主吞食后,在后者的肠管内孵化。棘头蚴穿过肠壁进入体腔发育,在甲虫和金龟子的蛹期、幼虫期或成虫期一直保持生活能力和感染性。幼虫在中间宿主体内的发育期限因外界温度而异,可存活2~3年之久。猪吞食含有棘头体的中间宿主而遭感染。放牧猪的感染率高于舍饲猪。在猪体内的寄生时间为10~23个月。雌虫每日可产卵26万个。虫卵对外界的寒冷和干燥有较强的抵抗力,在土壤表面或深层可存活9个月之久。 大多形棘头虫雌虫和雄虫体形相似,呈纺锤形。吻突上具有不同大小和形状的钩,排成16~18纵列,每列8枚。虫卵长纺锤形,内含棘头蚴。小多形棘头虫虫体较小,吻突卵圆形,上有16纵列的钩,每列7~10枚。中间宿主为钩虾。含棘头蚴的虫卵在其体内发育成棘头体,鸭吞食这种中间宿主而遭感染,在小肠内发育为成虫。 棘头虫以其吻突上的钩固着于肠粘膜深部,可造成机械性损伤;有的造成肠穿孔,使动物死于腹膜炎。严重感染的动物食欲减退、下痢、便血、发育受阻、消瘦、肌肉战慄、腹部肌肉搐搦。尸体剖检可见粘膜苍白、在虫体寄生处的小肠粘膜上有许多灰黄色或暗红色豌豆大的结节,周围有红色充血带。根据症状和流行病学特点可做出初步诊断,确诊须在粪便中找到虫卵或在剖检体内发现虫体。对猪可用四咪唑和四氯化碳驱虫;对鸭可试服四氯化碳。消灭中间宿主,舍饲、轮牧、粪便堆肥发酵处理等是预防本病的主要措施。
