日月潭水电站群 中国台湾省最早建设又陆续扩建成为该省规模最大的水电站群。 日月潭为台湾岛上著名风景区,位于浊水溪南投县境内,系由玉山和阿里山间的断裂盆地积水成潭。1931~1934年经筑坝抬高水位,并用长约15km隧洞,从浊水溪引水41.1m3/s扩建成日月潭水库,正常蓄水位748.5m。水库面积8.365km2,最大水深达 40m,总库容1.59亿m3。各电站利用它作为水库,调节水量。20世纪80年代前建有两座电厂。第一发电厂又称大观电厂,为高水头引水式,设圆筒形差动式调压井,利用日月潭与门牌潭之间的有效落差304.85m发电,最大引水流量42.3m3/s,装有5台2万kW的水斗式水轮发电机组,总装机容量10万kW,1919年8月动工,1934年7月建成发电。第二发电厂又称钜工电厂,利用大观电厂尾水渠与水里溪之间的有效落差123.64m和相同的引水流量发电,装有2台2.175万kW水轮发电机组,总装机容量为4.35万kW,1935年12月动工,1937年 9月建成发电。这些电厂供电台北、台中、高雄等市。 20世纪80年代起,为了利用夜间的剩余电能满足台湾省用电增长的需要,又以日月潭为上水库,水里溪上的明湖水库为下水库,修建了装机容量为100万kW的明湖抽水蓄能电站。下水库紧靠大观水电站上游,由一座高57.5m的混凝土重力坝形成。水库容积7.4×106m3,水轮机引用流量380m3/s,水泵引用流量328m3/s,最大毛水头321m,厂房设在地下,装有4台25万kW机组。1981年4月动工,1985年8月全部建成。 另一座以日月潭为上水库的明潭抽水蓄能电站也在1987年7月动工兴建,下水库在水里溪的车埕村附近,由一座高61.5m的混凝土重力坝形成,容积1200万m3。上下水库间平均水头差380m,厂房位于地下,内装6台26.7万kW抽水蓄能机组,总装机容量达160万kW,预计1992年建成,将成为亚洲最大的抽水蓄能电站。这些电站组成一个以日月潭为水源的水电站群,构成台湾省最大的水电供应基地。
