西石梁大瀑西石梁大瀑位于雁荡山雁湖景区内,是一条隐于壁立高崖内的悬瀑,瀑高约160米,仅次于大龙湫,为雁荡山第二大瀑布。西石梁大瀑在一条东西向沟谷的西侧,溪流所在的沟谷沿北西向发育,下蚀到一个流纹岩单元的上部流纹岩单元的上部流纹层时,形成西石梁大瀑 。宋代王十朋在《西大瀑》中写它:“灵源东接雁池遥/裂石崩崖下九霄/云断青天倚天剑/月明泉室挂生绡/江声雨势三秋念/雪花冰花五月饶/休勒移文北山去/他年来赴石梁招”。明代旅行家徐霞客在游记中云:“其高亚龙湫,较似壮胜,故非岩山第二流也。”现代张叔梅把它与大龙湫相比,以为“雄奇各自有千秋”。西石梁瀑附近还有曾任国民政府行政院长、立法院长孙科所题的“幽泉”二字,还有蒋叔南所题的诗刻,瀑前溪石上的“西石梁大瀑”五字,字大盈米,笔粗气壮,有奔放豪迈之气。
