绝缘强度绝缘强度dielectricstrength绝缘本身耐受电压的能力。作用在绝缘上的电压超过某临界值时,绝缘将损坏而失去绝缘作用。通常,电力设备的绝缘强度用击穿电压表示;而绝缘材料的绝缘强度则用平均击穿电场强度,简称击穿场强来表示。击穿场强是指在规定的试验条件下,发生击穿的电压除以施加电压的两电极之间的距离。绝缘强度通常以试验来确定。绝缘强度随绝缘的种类不同而有本质上的差别。绝缘分为内绝缘和外绝缘两大类。①内绝缘。电力设备内部的绝缘。包括固体介质、液体介质或气体介质的绝缘以及由不同介质构成的组合绝缘。外部大气条件对内绝缘基本没有影响。但材料的老化、高温、连续加热以及受潮等因素对内绝缘的绝缘强度有不利的影响。内绝缘若发生击穿,一般说来,它的绝缘强度是不能自行恢复的。②外绝缘。在直接与大气相接触的条件下工作的电工设备的各种不同形式的绝缘。包括空气间隙和电力设备固体绝缘的外露表面。外绝缘在放电停止后,其绝缘强度通常能迅速地完全恢复并与重复放电的次数无关。外绝缘的绝缘强度与外部大气条件密切相关。在固体绝缘和空气的交界面上的沿面放电发展成贯穿性的空气击穿称闪络。在一定的试验条件下,使外绝缘表面刚好发生闪络所需的电压值称临界闪络强度。伏秒特性是指在冲击电压波形一定的前提下,绝缘的冲击放电电压与相应的放电时间的关系曲线。它由试验确定。工程中用以表示绝缘在冲击电压作用下的击穿特性。
