京杭运河京杭运河世界上开凿最早、水道最长的水利工程。又称大运河。北起中国北京市,南抵浙江省杭州市,流经天津、河北、山东、江苏和浙江四省一市,沟通海河、黄河、淮河、长江和钱塘江五大水系。全长1794千米。开凿历史京杭运河的开凿经历了3个大阶段:①公元前5世纪,由吴国开凿的邗沟从今扬州附近的邗沟引长江水向北流,经高邮、宝应、淮安入淮河,沟通了长江和淮河。②7世纪初,隋朝定都洛阳,605年开通济渠,把洛水东引入黄河,再从黄河引水至今河南荥阳北,经郑州、开封折向东南直到江苏清江(淮阴)与邗沟相通,长约1000多千米。后又于608年凿永济渠,从洛阳向东北,经武陟、新乡、汲县到山东临清,北上到天津、河北涿郡,全长约1000千米。610年,又从江苏镇江经丹阳直达浙江杭州,开凿了一条长约400千米的江南运河。至此,从北京绕洛阳南达杭州的京杭运河全部开挖完成,全程长2700多千米。③元代全国政治中心移到了北京以后,为了缩短从北京到杭州绕道洛阳的航线,1283~1293年,先后挖通了北京到通县的通惠河、山东临清到东平的会通河、东平到济宁的济州河。把运河改成直线后,比隋代京杭运河缩短了900多千米。明、清两代在维持元代运河的基础上,进行了疏浚、黄运分离、湖漕分离等工程。运河分段京杭运河是不同时期利用许多天然河道、湖泊分段开挖连接而成的,全程共分7段,从北到南依次为:①通惠河(北京椡ㄏ兀S晌掠芎印赘∪⒗ッ骱桶×河挖接而成,长220千米。②北运河(通县椞旖颍。利用潮白河下游开挖而成,长186千米。③南运河(天津椓偾)。利用卫河下游的一段天然河道开挖而成,长约400千米。④鲁运河(临清椞ǘ@勉胨豌羲乃矗赝揪-南阳、独山、昭阳、微山湖等水面,长约480千米。⑤中运河(台儿庄椈匆酰@勉羲掠蔚囊欢翁烊缓拥溃Ú而成,长186千米。⑥里运河(淮阴椦镏荩190千米。⑦江南运河(镇江椇贾荩┏330千米。综合效益京杭运河是中国南北水运的大动脉,从春秋战国时代起,在过去不同历史阶段中,对中国社会政治、经济、文化的发展起了巨大的作用。从19世纪起,由于南北海运的兴起,以及后来津浦铁路的通车,其作用逐渐降低。中华人民共和国建立以后,随着经济建设发展的需要,对运河的许多河段进行了疏浚、加深或裁弯取直,并建立了不少新式船闸,还妥善解决了水源等工程问题。改造后,北起山东境内的梁济运河,南止浙江境内的江南运河,全线约980千米均能通航,同时借用运河,发挥了灌溉、排洪、排涝、发电及旅游等多方面的效益。正在兴建中的“南水北调”东线工程,已确定利用运河为输水路线,引长江水由运河输送到华北缺水地区,以缓解该地区缺水问题。京杭运河淮安段船闸鸟瞰
