港池 港口内供船舶停泊、作业、驶离和转头操作用的水域。港池要有足够的面积和水深,要求风浪小和水流平稳。港池有的是由天然地势形成的;有的是由人工建筑物掩护而成的;有的是人工开挖海岸或河岸形成的(称挖入式港池)。 港池包括码头前沿水域、船舶转头水域、港内锚地等。码头前沿水域是供船舶靠泊码头,进行货物装卸和旅客上下用的水域。船舶转头水域是供船舶靠离码头以前或以后需要回转用的水域。港内锚地是供船舶进行水上船转船的货物装卸作业(称过驳作业)、避风停泊和等候靠泊码头的水域。河港的港内锚地还作为供船队进行编解作业之用。港池有时也可狭义地理解为仅指码头前沿水域或突堤式码头间的水域。港池在海港和河港中的布置方式是不相同的。 海港港池 按口门(见防波堤)布置分为开口式和闭合式两种,以开口式居多。开口式港池通常只有一个口门,但为了便利船舶进出,减少泥沙淤积,根据具体情况,也有布置两个口门的。口门方向和宽度根据港口所在地区的风向、波浪、潮流、冰凌(如在冰冻地区)等情况和船舶尺度、航行密度、单行或双行等条件确定。在潮差较大地区如西欧英吉利海峡(拉芒什海峡)两岸,为减少潮差影响,降低码头高度和港池深度,节省造价,多在港池口门处设一船闸,形成闭合式港池。港内锚地一般布置在港池前方靠近口门处。船舶转头水域位于港内锚地和码头前沿水域之间。 港池面积,特别是人工掩护的港池和人工开挖的港池的面积,应根据使用要求和发展趋势确定。船舶在港池内自航转头,船舶转头水域的半径约为船长1.5~2倍,当用拖船协助时半径可等于船长一倍。如果利用码头上的带缆桩抛锚或采用拖船协助转头,转头水域半径还可适当减小。港池自口门至码头前沿应有一定的距离,以保证船舶驶入口门后减速到接近静止状态,安全靠泊码头;并使进入口门的波浪逐渐扩散,波能基本消失,以免在码头岸壁前形成立波,影响系泊稳定。波浪消散所需距离可通过模型试验确定。 海港多采用突堤码头或突堤和顺岸相结合的码头,以节省岸线长度。两突堤间的水域宽度根据设计船舶尺度、泊位数、船舶靠离码头的作业方式以及在同一泊位上并列靠泊的船舶数目确定。大型船舶在突堤间一般由港作拖船协助靠离码头,在这种情况下,突堤间水域的最小宽度约为设计船舶长度的1.2倍。 河港港池 河港通常采用顺岸式码头,因而港池顺岸线布置,不占用主航道。港池宽度一般为设计船舶宽度的3~4倍。码头前沿水域边缘一般与码头前沿线成30°~45°交角向外扩展,扩展部分应达到设计水深。船舶转头水域布置在码头前沿水域上下游端,其长度(顺水流方向)一般不小于船长或船队总长的2.5倍;宽度(垂直水流方向)一般不小于船长或船队总长的 1.5倍。对拖带船队,转头水域可适当减小。锚地一般顺岸线布置在码头上游或下游。
