水文计算水文计算hydrologicalcomputation为防洪、水资源开发和某些工程的规划、设计、施工和运行提供水文数据的各类水文分析和计算的总称。主要内容有：①设计年径流计算，即估算符合设计标准的通过河流某一指定断面的全年和各时段的径流量及其月旬分配，为水资源开发利用的水利规划和工程设计提供科学依据。②设计洪水计算，即计算符合某一地点指定的防洪设计标准的洪水数值，为防洪规划或防洪工程设计提供可靠的水文数据。③设计暴雨计算，并根据设计暴雨计算结果，推求相应的设计洪水和涝水。④设计固体径流计算，主要内容为确定某一设计标准的各年输沙量及其年内分配，以估算水库库容缩小情况和工程寿命，估算水库及其上下游河道的泥沙冲淤情况，为水工建筑物布设和水库运营方式的选择提供依据。此外，还有河流冰情、水质估算，潮水位的计算，蒸发量、地下水估算等。计算方法主要是用概率论、数理统计的原理，根据实测水文资料的统计分析，估算指定设计频率的水文特征值。
