冲沙闸 利用河(渠)道水流冲排上游河段或渠系沉积的泥沙的水闸。又称排沙闸。建于多沙河流上的水利枢纽，为排除进水闸或节制闸前淤积的泥沙，常设冲沙闸，以利引水冲沙。冲沙闸一般布置于紧靠进水闸一侧的河道上，其轴线与进水闸的轴线成正交或斜交，斜夹角有时不大，与拦河闸（坝）并排横跨河道布置（见图）。在冲沙闸与节制闸（坝）接头处的上游设置导墙,导墙与冲沙闸上游一段河槽,形成沉沙槽。开启闸门，可将沉积在闸前的泥沙排至下游河道。洪水期，可利用冲沙闸兼泄部分洪水。也有将冲沙闸布置于进水闸的下方，用以正面冲沙。为减少泥沙进入引水渠，冲沙闸底槛高程要比进水闸底槛高程低一些。建于渠系上的冲沙闸，一般设于引水渠末端靠河侧，以便冲走引水渠中沉积的泥沙。对兼有泄洪任务的冲沙闸，一般采用开敞式。当闸上水位变幅较大，闸室较高时，为减少闸门高度，也可采用胸墙式。冲沙闸的运用，有连续冲沙和定期冲沙两种方式。当河道来水充足时，可同时开启进水闸和冲沙闸，将含沙量少的表层水引入渠道，含沙量多的底层水可经冲沙闸排至下游河道；当来水量不足时，可只开启进水闸引水，停止引水时再开冲沙闸排沙。为保证能冲走沉积的泥沙，过闸流速应大于泥沙的起动流速。
