陈华癸(1914~ ) 中国土壤微生物学家。 1914年 1月11日生于北京。1935年毕业于北京大学生物系,1939年获伦敦大学哲学博士学位。回国后先在中央农业实验所从事研究工作,后历任北京大学农学院教授、土壤学系主任,武汉大学农学院教授兼农业化学系主任,华中农学院土壤农化系教授、系主任、院长等职;并为中国农学会第三届副会长,中国土壤肥料研究会第一届理事长,中国微生物学会第四届副理事长,中国科学院学部委员。长期从事土壤微生物研究,对土壤微生物区系、土壤中物质的生物循环、豆科的根瘤菌共生固氮等都有深入研究。60年代进行紫云英根瘤菌共生固氮关系的基础研究并应用于农业生产,取得显著效益。与樊庆笙联合主编的《微生物学》(1959)教材被广泛使用,并连续修订再版。
