全息术全息术holography同时记录光波的振幅信息和相位信息并使光波重现的技术。早在1947年D.伽柏就已提出了全息术，但其真正发展和应用于实际则在60年代发明了激光器之后。普通感光片只能记录光波的振幅(光强)，不能记录相位，因而所得底片不能真实地重现原来的物光波，图像缺乏立体感。用全息术制作的全息底片同时记录了光波的全部信息——振幅和相位，故能真实地重现原来的物光波，图像有极强的立体感。为使只能记录光强的感光片能把相位信息记录下来，就必须把相位信息转换成光强形式，通常用干涉法达此目的。图1是制作全息底片的一种装置。从激光器发出的相干光波经分束器后分成两束，一束经扩束后用来照明物体，从物上发出的漫反射光成为物光波，照到全息感光片上；另一束经扩束和准直后也照到感光片上，称为参考光波。物光波和参考光波进行相干叠加，在全息感光片上形成干涉条纹。感光片记录下来的干涉图样称为全息图，经显影处理后得全息底片。由于干涉条纹很密，必须采用高分辨率感光片。若物光波与参考光波的夹角较小，形成的干涉条纹间距比感光乳胶厚度大很多时，所得全息图称为平面全息图；若乳胶厚度比条纹间距要大，则称体全息图。全息底片记录下来的只不过是一些需在显微镜下才能看清的复杂干涉条纹，毫无原物的形象，但却包含了原物光波的全部信息，适当条件下可把物光波重现出来，称为波前重现。图1当把原来所用的参考光波照射全息底片时，照明光将在组成全息图的干涉条纹上产生衍射，产生彼此分离的三束衍射光(图2)，第一束为直射光，即零级衍射光，称为晕轮光。第二束是重现的物光波，在原来物的位置上将观察到原物的虚像，它毫无像差，且有很强的立体感，就像观察真实物体一样。第三束是共轭物光波，形成原物的三维实像，通常有很大像差。图2制作全息底片有多种方式，可分别得到透射全息图、反射全息图、傅里叶变换全息图等。把全息图漂白后得到相位全息图。全息术除用于上述全息照相外，在干涉计量、信息存储、光学滤波和光学模拟计算等方面均有广泛应用。1976年，苏联电影科学研究所利用全息术制作出全息电影。全息术除应用于光学波段外，现已扩展到微波波段和超声领域，X光波段的全息术也正在研究中。
