优化优化optimization youhuQ优化(oPtimization)在语言处理过程中为提高程序质量而采用的技术。需求级、功能级和设计级语言处理系统的优化技术尚处于实验探索阶段,实现级语言处理系统尤其编译程序的优化技术发展较早、较为成熟。 编译阶段上可进行的优化分为中间代码级的优化和机器代码级的优化,又分别称为与机器无关的优化和与机器有关的优化。 中间代码级的优化有表达式优化、循环优化等。表达式优化通常有合并常量运算、提取公共子表达式、布尔表达式优化等。循环优化通常有外提循环不变式、强度削减等技术。 机器代码级的优化有寄存器优化、机器指令的有效利用等。 从涉及的范围上优化技术又可分为局部优亿和奎局化化。若优化涉及的范围是一个基本块,则称为局部优化,否则称为全局优化。 在优化工作中循环优化,尤其是与内循环有关的优化特别重要,它对程序的质量有显著影响。 优化技术的基础是数据流分析和控制流分析等。 目标程序的质量不仅与编译的优化技术有关,而且与源程序所采用的算法有关。求解一个问题的算法可能有许多,它们的复杂度常常会有数量级上的差异。采用高质量算法的源程序是提高目标程序质量的关键所在。
