齐如山齐如山(1877～1962)中国戏曲理论家，作家。河北高阳人。17岁入清朝总理各国事务衙门所属同文馆习外语，精通德、英、法文。他酷爱京剧，出国游历时注意了解欧美等国的戏剧活动和剧场组织。回国后，多方介绍国外戏剧状况，提倡改进中国戏曲。后来专事协助梅兰芳修订剧本，排练身段，与李释戡等陆续为梅氏编写了40余个剧本。他编排的古装戏，善于运用舞蹈手段刻画人物，对旦脚身段作出了有益的尝试。他为梅氏赴美演出编译过英文的演员介绍、剧情说明书、剧本、曲谱、乐器、脸谱及刀枪把子的图解等。他还编辑出版了《戏剧丛刊》、《国剧画报》，收集保存了许多珍贵的戏曲资料。他主持的国剧传习所，培养出不少戏曲人才。他知识渊博治学严谨。他于1948年移居台湾。有《齐如山全集》行世。
