藏戏壁画 戏曲文物。西藏拉萨布达拉宫壁画，举世闻名，汪洋浩瀚，仪态万千，绝大部分绘于17世纪中叶。布达拉宫既是历辈达赖喇嘛灵塔所在，又是达赖喇嘛静坐焚修的宫室，也是西藏地方政府机关所在，宫内壁画反映出宣传性、纪念性和娱乐性的特点。现存宫内壁画有佛本生故事变相，有诸佛菩萨垂迹，有历史人物的文治武功；也有世态人情和风俗景致的描绘。其中有两铺藏戏壁画。一铺是藏戏《文成公主》演出壁画，以通景连环的形式将戏中的各场场景一一排开,由左向右、再由右向左,作"之"字形，依次循序,回环渐进,可以把《文成公主》这出戏一览无余。画中，演员的舞蹈、敬礼，无不生动有致。有的场面人物众多，错综繁复，节奏和效果都显得十分热闹。还可以在画上见到藏戏演出中使用的打击乐器和乐师。这一铺壁画在布达拉宫东大殿北墙上。另一铺画则为藏戏某一出的特写。绘于东日光殿寝宫前壁，可以见到藏戏正在演出。演员均戴面具，其中一人将面具推在头顶，看得出来这一脚色正在引吭高歌，为了使嗓音宏亮，而把面具推了上去，以便吟字弄腔。演员所着网裙也与现代藏戏演员相似。周围还有若干观众，看来是在广场演出。这两铺藏戏壁画色彩鲜艳，线条柔和，保护完好，对于研究藏戏的服装、面具、乐器、舞蹈和故事情节，具有重要的资料价值。
