花旦“什么是花旦？”来我们中国戏曲学院参观的外宾，或者是我们到国外演出时一些京剧爱好者，常会跟我这个演花旦戏的提这样的问题。我以学演花旦这行的心得在此做个简介。 京剧里，有生、旦、净、丑四个扮演不同年龄、身份、性格之剧中人的“行当”。花旦，是旦行中的一支，区别于正旦（旧称“青衣”）、刀马旦、武旦和老旦。扮演的多为天真烂漫、性格开朗的妙龄女子。也有的是属于泼辣，放荡的中、青年女性。影视界所称的“当家花旦”，指的也是善演这样角色的演员，想来是从京剧借用的称谓。 花旦中，又有闺门旦、玩笑旦、泼辣旦、刺杀旦的分支。闺门旦，扮演的是还没有出嫁的少女，其中性格内向、腼腆的，与正旦接近，如“荀（慧生）派”戏《勘玉钏》中的俞素秋、《红楼二尤》中的尤二姐。《凤还巢》中的程雪娥，尽管多由“梅（兰芳）派”正旦扮演，也可以归入闺门旦中。玩笑旦，扮演的是喜剧、闹剧中爱说爱笑、好打好闹的人物。不唱“皮黄”，而唱“南锣”、“吹腔”、“柳枝腔”等民间小调，用唢呐伴奏。如《小上坟》、《小放牛》、《打面缸》、《打花鼓》中的女性。泼辣旦，扮演的是举止放荡、说话锋利的女性。如《翠屏山》中的潘巧云、《乌龙院》中的闫惜姣、《巴骆和》中的马金定。刺杀旦，有两种认识：一是说刺杀别人的；一是说被别人刺杀的。前者如《双钉记》中的白金莲、《双铃记》（也称《马思远》）中的赵玉、《杀子报》中的徐氏；后者如《战宛城》的邹氏等。 泛指的花旦，又有“大花旦”、“小花旦”之说。大花旦，虽身份卑微，却成长于大户人家，如戏里的豪门丫环使女。《西厢记》或《红娘》中的红娘便是。小花旦，为小户人家的闺秀，或丫环使女。如《豆汁记》中的金玉奴，《勘玉钏》中的韩玉姐、《花田错》中的春兰。 花旦的特点：一是穿着。除某些性格内向的闺门旦，着长衫（戏里称褶子、帔），多是着短衣，或裙子、袄，或裤子、袄。着裤子、袄时，配以坎肩、“饭单”（即围裙）、“四喜带”（即自腰前方，下垂于两腿中间的饰物）。《拾玉镯》中的孙玉姣，《游龙戏凤》中的李凤姐，虽属闺门旦，但因性格外向而着裤子、袄。且李凤姐为正旦、闺门旦“两门抱”（即兼演），孙玉姣则正旦不演。二是“四功”。以念白、做功为主。念白，多用流畅的京白，表演要求敏捷、伶俐。尤其以眼神犀利，腰肢、脚下灵巧为首要。唱功为辅，舞则必备。如属刺杀旦，扑跌功夫也不可少。 花旦，兴起于元杂剧。多扮演热情、机智的女性，如关汉卿《救风尘》中的赵盼儿。其后的“昆山腔”中，称为“贴旦”。昆曲（剧）中，至今还有“一、二、三、四、五、六、贴”之说。即为老旦、正旦、玩笑旦、泼辣旦、刺杀旦、闺门旦与贴旦。贴旦还兼演娃娃生，如《认子》中的江流僧（即幼年唐三藏）便是。清代，秦腔演员魏长生到北京，引进跷功（即脚上绑木质小脚，模拟缠足行走），更成为花旦表演中的特技。近世善演花旦的名宿，当属“四大名旦”中“荀派”创始人荀慧生，以及创成“筱派”的筱翠花（本名于连泉）二位。荀先生以演闺门旦、大小花旦获誉；于先生以演玩笑旦、泼辣旦、刺杀旦称绝。两位都长于使用眼神。于先生在富连成科班坐科学习时，就以眼神充足，令同科学习的丑角不敢和他对视。否则便不知所措，忘了台词。师辈只得让比他晚一科、“富”字辈的马富禄跟他配戏。因为二位是亲戚，自幼在一起玩耍，对他不怵。作为新一代学花旦的我，这二位前辈的精湛艺术，永远是我追求的目标！
