侗戏  侗族戏曲剧种。流传于贵州省从江、黎平、榕江和广西、湖南侗族聚居地区。清嘉庆、道光年间,由侗族民间说唱形式"嘎锦"(侗语,即叙事歌)和"摆古"结合而成。1870年左右,自贵州沿都柳江传入广西。最初仅有两人坐唱,后发展为走唱。道光年间,黎平县腊洞寨侗族秀才吴文彩和吴文彬等根据汉族唱本编成《梅良玉》、《凤姣李旦》等侗剧脚本。之后,民间业余戏师又先后创作了许多本民族题材的剧目,如《门龙》、《三郎五妹》、《珠郎娘美》等。很多侗寨都有业余侗戏班,代代相传。侗戏早期的表演颇有特色,角色到台前唱完一句后,在过门中绕∞字形回到台中靠后方端坐的"掌本"戏师面前,听取提示的唱词,然后再到台前演唱。丑脚在台上比较活跃,有独特的程式,不论从左右方向出场,都只能向里跳跃,叫做"跳丑脚"。1949年后,整理改编的传统剧目有《珠郎娘美》、《山伯英台》、《美道》、《芒遂》、《刘知远》等,编演的现代戏有《侗家儿女》、《民族团结的花》等。其中《珠郎娘美》已摄制成影片。    侗戏的主要曲调有平板和哀腔等。平板或称普通调,用于叙事性唱词,前有引子、起板;哀腔,或称哭调、泪调。此外,在有些剧目中,花旦或丑还常采用侗歌、汉族民间曲调等。主奏乐器为二胡,还有牛腿琴、琵琶、月琴、低胡、扬琴等。打击乐器有鼓、锣、钹、小镲,但只在开台、催台及角色上下场时用以伴奏。
