裸甲藻属 甲藻门裸甲藻科的1属。植物体为单细胞,球形、椭圆形、卵形,背腹扁平。横沟明显,多数左旋,罕为右旋,横沟将植物体分为上、下锥部,位于腹面的纵沟长度不等,多数略伸入上锥部。细胞裸露或具薄胞壁,薄壁由多数相同多角形小片组成;表面平滑、罕见具线纹或纵肋纹的。鞭毛 2条,色素体多数,盘状、狭椭圆状、棒状,周生或辐射状排列,呈黄、褐、绿或蓝色。有的种具有藻胆素。有些种类无色素体,营养方式为异养型。具或不具眼点。具一个间核型细胞核(见图)。 全世界约有130种,均为浮游种类,绝大多数为海产,多分布在热带和温带海域,生长在半咸水和淡水中的较少。中国淡水中常见的约3种。 常见的繁殖方法是细胞纵分裂,也有产生动孢子、不动孢子或休眠孢子的。有的种如伪沼泽裸甲藻具有有性生殖。裸甲藻属对水温、光强和水的pH值的反应极敏感,因而季节变化较显著;是水生动物的饵料,但过量生长则形成对水产有害的"赤潮"。如海产的短裸甲藻形成有毒性的水华,能使鱼类致死。
