犬瘟热  由副粘病毒科(Paramyxoviridae)麻疹病毒属(Movbillivirurs)中的犬瘟热病毒引起的幼狗急性高度触染性疾病。以发烧、急性鼻炎、支气管炎、肺炎、严重的胃肠炎、神经症状和高死亡率为特征。世界性分布。在幼狗中引起的死亡超过其他疾病。所有犬科动物(犬、狼、狐、貉等)和鼬科动物(水貂、雪貂等)以及大熊猫都易感染,但猫科动物(猫、狮、虎)和其他家畜以及人都不易感染。1905年法国的卡雷首先报道本病的致病因子是一种滤过性病毒,故又称卡雷氏病,但他的发现直到1926年才被英国的莱德劳和邓金所证实。根据流行病学资料、症状和病变可作出初步诊断。确诊可依靠对鸡胚、细胞培养物、犬和雪貂的接种来分离病毒。在受损害的组织如膀胱上皮细胞中找到细胞质内或核内的典型嗜酸性包涵体,有助于确诊。萤光抗体技术也能发现受感染细胞内的特异性病毒抗原。无药物可供治疗。预防可使用福尔马林处理的病毒疫苗、雪貂传代毒疫苗、鸡胚传代毒疫苗和细胞培养物传代毒疫苗。人的麻疹疫苗,也可供使用,因本病毒和麻疹病毒具有共同抗原性。
