齿轮的滚压成形技术的研究进展摘要:运用滚压成形技术进行齿轮塑性加工具有设备简单、刀具寿命长及效率高的特点,尤其对斜齿轮的成形加工,没有拔模问题。近年来,在国外该技术的研究与运用得到极大的重视。本文对这些研究成果进行介绍,主要内容为滚压成形方法、冷和热挤滚压成形时出现的问题及解决措施。期望能对认识滚压成形的内在规律有所帮助。 关键词:滚压成形 冷挤滚压 热挤滚压 1.引言 滚压成形技术在大约100年以前,就被用于螺纹零件的制造中,并获得了成功。对于齿轮零件来说,同样人们很早就开始运用滚压成形技术对其进行加工。不同的是,齿轮轮齿部分的成形精度要求,要比螺纹牙成形严格得多。轮齿成形精度低、模具寿命短等因素制约该技术的发展。50年代,不少学者以提高轮齿成形质量,解决实用化问题为目的,进行了齿轮的滚压成形研究。70年代出现采用内啮合滚压成形的加工方法,最为代表的是由波兰的Marciniak等人创立的WPM法。WPM法是用一对扇形齿轮作成形刀具,分别通过两个偏心轴使扇形滚刀作圆周运动后将轮坯齿形包络出来。WPM法为内齿成形刀具,较外齿滚刀强度好,且刀具与轮坯之间周向接触弧长,相对滑动速度小,具有成形质量好,刀具寿命长的特点。随后西德的Weck等人又采用Grob法进行了直齿轮塑性成形研究。Grob法为仿形法,沿轴向进给。需分度回转才能完成全部轮齿的加工,加工精度较范成法低。但适合加工花键轴一类的长形零件。冷挤滚压成形存在成品合格率、生产效率等方面的问题,推广运用受到限制。为此,热挤滚压成形技术得到关注,日本学者成瀬政南早在50年代开始研究热挤滚压齿轮技术。与冷挤滚压不同,热挤滚压设置一对齿形滚轮沿横向进给,工件用高频线圈加热,成形压力明显下降,且轮齿容易成形。由于影响热挤滚压齿轮质量(如精度、材料流动、成形缺陷及热处理后强度等)的因素较多,后来日本学者団野等又进行了热挤滚压齿轮成形条件诸多影响因素的实验研究。进入80年代,滚压成形技术研究向高品质,低成本的“净成形”加工方向发展,并运用模拟仿真技术进行试验研究。2.滚压成形原理 滚压成形有范成和仿形两种方法。范成法多用于齿轮成形,仿形法适合花键轴加工。范成法原理如图1所示,是通过横向进给,使齿轮滚刀①与加工齿轮②啮合传动,轮坯受挤压塑性变形后,被包络出齿形。齿轮滚刀还可做成齿条形状或内齿轮形状。
