抑郁  人们在环境中遇到严重挫折时的一种综合性情绪体验。又称压抑。抑郁状态一般指感情、意志、思维、行为水平降低,有悲哀、失望、沮丧、自卑、虚无、有罪等自我感觉,同时伴随有不同程度的食欲不振、便秘、性欲减退、头昏脑胀、失眠等症状。    正常人若处于抑郁状态的时间较短,程度较轻,一般不会构成疾病。但如果一个人长时间地处于抑郁状态,程度严重,影响正常的生活、学习、工作、甚至有自杀倾向,则会转化为抑郁症,又叫抑郁性神经症。抑郁症根据临床表现可分为单纯型和焦虑型;根据有无外界诱因可分为外因型和内因型;根据患者发病的年龄可分为青春型、中年型、更年型和老年型。    产生抑郁症的原因主要有:①人格因素。如一直悲观失望,不满情绪强烈,缺乏自信心,感情脆弱,孤独成习。②认知因素。如由于失去亲人或心爱之物而产生一种过度的悲伤,或者产生严重的失望感和犯罪感。③生理、生化因素。如下丘脑功能改变,体内儿茶酚胺和吲哚胺含量的改变
