除氧器 用于除去锅炉给水中的溶氧及其他气体的装置。火电厂中给水溶氧是造成热力设备腐蚀的主要原因。因而，锅炉给水除氧是防止设备腐蚀、保证安全运行的重要环节。此外，除氧器还可作为回热系统中的一个混合加热器，把高压加热器的疏水、火电厂各处水质合格的疏水、锅炉排污水经扩容蒸发、冷凝后汇集起来予以利用，以减少汽水损失。 火电厂中的除氧器采用热力除氧原理，即在除氧器中将水加热到沸点，利用水蒸汽的分压将溶解于水中的氧及其他气体排出。火电厂的除氧器均为混合式，根据加热蒸汽的压力分为真空式、大气式(工作压力为120～250千帕）和高压式（工作压力为600千帕）；按结构形式分为膜式、淋水盘式、喷雾式、填料式、喷雾填料式、喷雾蒸汽喷盘式等；按除氧头的布置方式又可分为立式和卧式。真空除氧通常在凝汽器内进行，作为初步除氧。高压和超高压汽轮机大多采用高压除氧。
