工程塑料工程塑料engineeringplastics作为结构材料应用的塑料。工程塑料与通用塑料没有明显界线。其主要品种有聚酰胺、聚甲醛、聚碳酸酯、聚苯醚、ABS树脂、热塑性聚酯、聚氨酯、聚砜、聚芳砜、聚苯硫醚及其他芳杂环聚合物等。通常还把氟树脂、超高分子量聚乙烯和所有热塑性增强塑料等也算作工程塑料。工程塑料的主要特点是:①密度小。一般为钢铁的1/4。对全面减轻车辆和飞行器重量有特殊意义。②比强度高。用玻璃纤维增强的工程塑料,其抗张强度与质量之比达1700~4000,而钢材仅为1600左右。③化学稳定性好。对酸、碱以及一般有机溶剂均有良好的耐腐蚀性。④电绝缘性好。⑤耐磨、具有自润滑性,可降低摩擦系数。⑥耐热性和尺寸稳定性高。⑦抗冲击、抗疲劳性能优良。工程塑料可采用通常的塑料加工方法加工成各种制品。还可通过增韧技术、嵌段共聚或几种聚合物混炼等方法制成高分子共混物,以改进性能,使其抗冲击强度接近金属。工程塑料广泛用于电子、电工、建筑、汽车、机械、航空、航天等工业部门。工程塑料制品
