吕蒙吕蒙(178~219) 东汉末孙权的重要将领。字子明。汝南富波(今安徽阜南东南)人。少为孙权别部司马,治军有方,士卒操练娴熟,得到宠任。建安十三年(208),从权征灭刘表将领黄祖,升横野中郎将。当年,又随周瑜、程普大破曹操于赤壁。十九年,与甘宁共破皖城(今安徽潜山),获曹操将朱光及男女数万口,拜庐江大守。次年,奉命西取长沙、零陵、桂阳三郡,计赚刘备零陵太守郝普。后升左护军、虎威将军。鲁肃卒,代督其军,屯陆口,与关羽为邻。建安二十四年,孙权采纳吕蒙献计,令其称病还建业,使威名未著的陆逊代守陆口,以此麻痹关羽不以吴军为患,调大军北至樊城进攻曹军。乘其后方空虚之际,吕蒙暗率精兵攻取南郡(今湖北江陵)。入城后军纪严明,抚恤老病,优遇关羽将士家属,使随关羽回救的将士丧失斗志,从而斩关羽,定荆州,为巩固孙吴西部地区统治立下功勋。升南郡太守,封孱陵侯。寻卒。吕蒙贵显后经孙权告诫,始折节读书,见解独到,为老儒所不及,因而统治才略大进。鲁肃称赞他:“学识英博,非复吴下阿蒙!” (祝总斌)
