摩擦学:磨损磨损摩擦体接触表面的材料在相对运动中由於机械作用﹐间或伴有化学作用而產生的不断损耗的现象。它是摩擦学研究的重要内容﹐也是机械零件失效的主要原因之一。但磨损也有可供利用的一面﹐如新装配的机器的配合件﹐就要利用磨损来磨合。磨损一般分为黏著磨损﹑磨料磨损﹑表面疲劳磨损和腐蚀磨损4种主要类型﹐此外还有微动磨损﹑衝击磨损﹑侵蚀和气蚀等。 对於磨损现象﹐以及磨损与摩擦﹑磨损与材料之间的某些关係﹐人们通过实验早已有所认识﹐但系统地科学地研究各种磨损机理则是到 20世纪 50年代才开始的。1953年﹐美国的J.F.艾查德提出了简单的磨损计算公式。1957年﹐苏联的..克拉格利斯基提出了磨损疲劳理论和计算方法。1973年﹐美国的徐楠朴提出磨损的剥层理论。60年代以后﹐电子显微镜和光谱﹑能谱﹑俄歇谱﹑X射线衍射等分析仪器以及放射性示踪技术﹑铁谱技术的大量综合使用﹐使得磨损研究在力学﹑机理﹑失效分析﹑监测和维修等方面有了较快的发展。有人在电子显微镜下观察磨损试验并进行电视录像﹐以便瞭解磨损的动态过程﹐不仅研究已磨损的表面﹑磨损过程﹐而且研究磨屑的形状﹑成分和组织﹐以便弄清磨损机理﹑分析和监视磨损进程﹐从而寻求提高零件寿命的可能途径。 磨损一般来源於摩擦﹐但磨损与摩擦力﹑摩擦係数之间的关係却很复杂。在具体工作条件下影响磨损的因素很多﹐其中有环境因素(湿度﹑温度和介质等)﹑润滑条件﹑工作条件(载荷﹑速度和运动方式等)﹑零件材料的成分﹑组织以及工作表面的物理化学性质等。每一因素稍有变化都会使磨损量改变﹐并可能改变磨损机理。因此﹐系统地研究磨损机理是提高磨损研究水平的途径。结合试验掌握磨损机理﹐就可求得磨损变量和摩擦学系统参量间的定量关係。一般说来﹐磨损随著载荷和滑动时间的增加而增加﹐但也有例外。硬的材料一般比软的材料磨损较少。 防止或减少磨损须从设计﹑选材﹑润滑和加工工艺等方面来综合採取措施。因为磨损发生在表层﹐最经济有效的方法是提高零件表面的耐磨性﹐如採用表面热处理﹑化学热处理﹑电镀﹑喷涂﹑堆焊﹑表面覆膜技术和离子注入技术等。此外﹐在选材时也应当重视非金属材料﹐如聚合物和橡胶等﹐并要注意与工况适应﹐与材料匹配。
