热管换热器  以热管作为传热元件的换热器。热管是20世纪60年代由航天工业开发的一种新型传热元件,能在很小温差下传递巨大的热流量。近年来,已推广应用到各个工业部门。    热管  内部设有传输液体的吸液芯的金属管,在抽除其中不凝性气体并充以某种工作液体后封闭而成(图1)。常用的工作液体有水、氨、乙醇、丙酮、钠、锂和汞等,不同工作液体适用于不同工作温度。在热管被称作蒸发段的一端,工作液体从外界热源受热而汽化,流向称作冷凝段的另一端,将热量传给外界受热体而冷凝;冷凝液沿吸液芯流回蒸发段,如此不断循环,实现热量在两个外部物体间的连续传递。沸腾传热和冷凝传热的传热分系数很大,管外侧还可用翅片加强传热,因此即使热管两端的温度差很小,仍可获得很高的传热速率。从热管的传热速率和相应的温度差折算而得的表观热导率,可达到良好热导体的103~104倍。  根据使冷凝液返回蒸发段的推动力,热管的主要类型有:①毛细热管。依靠紧贴管壁的多孔吸液芯(如编织丝网、烧结多孔层或管壁上开的细槽)对冷凝液的毛细管作用,使冷凝液从冷凝段流回蒸发段。②重力热管。冷凝液依靠重力流回蒸发段。    热管换热器的构造和应用  换热器由热管束构成,中间用块隔板把冷热流体隔开(图2),热管束的蒸发段浸在热流体中,冷凝段则浸在冷流体中。当管外传热分系数小时(如气体对流传热),可在管外加翅片来增加传热表面和增强流体湍动,使其与管内相变传热的高传热分系数相匹配。    热管换热器在化工生产中的应用起始于70年代初,主要有利用余热的热管空气预热器和热管废热锅炉,以及控制固定床反应器中催化剂床层温度用的换热器等。随着廉价耐用的新型热管的出现,其使用范围必将进一步扩大。
