微波振荡源微波振荡源microwaveoscillator产生微波频率的正弦信号的装置。根据所用的产生振荡的器件类型,可分为微波管振荡源和微波固态振荡源两大类。微波管振荡源由微波真空管组成,具有输出功率大、振荡频率高、频谱纯、耐高低温和抗核辐射能力强等优点,但是结构复杂、体积大、工作电压高,应用受到限制。微波固态振荡源体积小,重量轻、结构简单、寿命长,工作电压仅为几伏至几十伏,而且便于集成化,但输出功率小,已经达到的最高振荡频率低于微波管振荡源的频率。用于产生微波振荡的半导体二极管主要有隧道二极管、电子转移器件和雪崩渡越时间二极管。隧道二极管振荡器输出功率小,可靠性差,现已很少采用。电子转移器件振荡器最高频率约为100吉赫,适用于低噪声混频器的本振源或参量放大器的泵源。碰撞雪崩渡越时间模式振荡器的最高频率可达300吉赫,已得到广泛应用。微波双极晶体管和微波场效应晶体管附加反馈电路后可构成晶体管振荡器。双极晶体管的振荡频率在10吉赫以下,应用受到限制。场效应晶体管的振荡频率可达毫米波波段,输出功率远大于其他固态振荡源,而且适合于微波单片集成,有良好的应用前景。
