热敷 把物体或药物加温，趁热敷于体表的一种治病和保健方法。古称熨。 1964年在湖南长沙下麻的战国墓出土的砭石，据考证为用于熨法的原始工具。可见当时人们已借助热熨法来进行保健和医疗。《灵枢·病传》篇有："有导引、乔摩、灸熨、刺焫"的记载。历代医书中也有"向火摩"，"两手摩热，拭体、掩脐"等借助火热来进行保健治疗的记载，并有药熨、汤熨、酒熨、铁熨、葱熨、土熨等方法。清代吴师机《理瀹骈文》，极大发展了中医外治法，并将药物外治的主要方法归纳为"炒熨煎抹"。 主要作用为透热，并且有温通经络、活血祛瘀、祛寒止痛、消积化滞的功能。热敷可分为干和湿两种。干热敷多用盐、沙、土、药、石等，烧热或炒热，外包布袋敷于患处。湿热敷则用不同性能的中药包煎热敷。热敷部位可为病痛局部、腹脐、足等。 注意事项：一般在局部手法后行热敷；而热敷后，局部不可再行其他手法。但热敷后可涂药液，如红花油等，以增疗效。热敷温度以病人耐受为度，避免烫伤或晕厥。皮肤破损处不可热敷。保持室温，无风，以免汗出受风。 常用热敷方：食盐一碗，治疗胸腹饱闷疼痛，炒热包布袋敷脐，或自胸腹间缓缓移动。枳壳、莱菔子各30克，大皂角1条，食盐15克，共研细末，加酒炒热包起，敷于胃脘，可消积化滞除胀。当归、没药、五加皮、皮硝、青皮、川椒、香附各10克，丁香、老葱、地骨皮、丹皮各3克，麝香0.3克，熏洗热敷，治疗伤后瘀血疼痛。红花、乳香、没药、宣木瓜、钻地风各10克，桂枝、老紫草、伸筋草、路路通、千年健各15克，苏木50克，香樟木50克，湿热敷，治疗扭伤、挫伤、风湿疼痛、关节怕凉酸痛等症。
