三氯乙醛三氯乙醛chloral分子式CCl3CHO。无色油状液体,有刺激性气味。熔点-57.5℃,沸点97.8℃,相对密度1.51214(20/4℃)。溶于水、乙醇、乙醚。三氯乙醛溶于水生成稳定的水合三氯乙醛CCl3CH(OH)2;三氯乙醛与醇作用生成稳定的半缩醛CCl3CH(OH)OR和缩醛CCl3CH(OR)OR′。三氯乙醛经较长时间贮存会聚合成不溶的固体,此聚合物于碳酸钠溶液中在180~185℃蒸馏,可重新得到三氯乙醛。工业上三氯乙醛是由氯与乙醇反应制取。三氯乙醛是生产滴滴涕(见双对氯苯基三氯乙烷)的原料。适量的三氯乙醛对人有镇静和催眠作用(临床上用水合三氯乙醛);用量大时,先是引起兴奋,随后产生深度麻醉,同时麻痹、抑制中枢神经导致死亡。三氯乙醛对农作物有害。
