皮质分子式:CAS号:性质:皮革化学分析的一项指标。皮质是皮革的主要成分,是生成加工成革后保留下来的胶原纤维蛋白质。可用凯氏定氮法测定皮革中的含氮量再乘以5.62,定时地得出该皮革的蛋白质含量,以百分率表示。测定皮质可以评估制革工艺的合理性,例如,一般纯植鞣外底革含皮质37%~40%。皮质含量低表示皮纤维受破坏损失较多,会削弱革的抗张强度、耐磨强度,且易松面。皮质含量过高则表示鞣制不良,皮革多显僵硬或不够丰满。
