辐射屏蔽功能复合材料分子式:CAS号:性质:由吸收放射性射线、粒子的材料与基体复合的或再用增强体与上述材料进行复合的复合材料。放射性辐射线中主要为了γ射线、X射线和中子,当它们与高原子序数元素所构成的高密度物质相互作用时会丧失其全部或部分能量;由于发生了康普顿散射和光电子效应从而产生能量的吸收和转移,这些效应都和电子密度成正比。金属中的铁(密度为7.8g/cm3)、铅(密度11.4g/cm3)和钨(密度19.3g/cm3)都可以起到吸收辐射的作用。铁和铅为常用金属,价格便宜,所以放射性反应堆的防护墙用铁屑、铅粒与混凝土复合来建造,可以很好地阻挡中子和电磁波,一般20MeV以下的中子即可避免深度贯穿问题。钨的密度较大因此虽然较贵,但对小剂量的γ和X射线可以用很薄的钨材来屏蔽。
